Irmscher Opel Corsa iRC- Sprint -

Spectacular design study for the Opel Corsa in Irmscher sports attire – the small car makes a grand entrance with its extensive design elements. The Remshalden-based company has been building special vehicles and special models for more than 58 years – more than 550,000 vehicles have already been customised at Irmscher modification centres.

The World Rally Championship and WRC vehicles served as inspiration for this spectacular design. Even at first glance, the front end stands out thanks to its aggressive styling with elaborately designed extensions and air vents. The Irmscher radiator grille with its typical honeycomb design has been part of Irmschers DNA for many years. On the side, there are dynamically integrated side panels that extend across the entire lower side area and merge into the widened rear section. The striking rear apron, in conjunction with the aerodynamically optimised, protruding rear spoiler, dominates the entire rear section and emphasises the cars impressive appearance.

The 1985 Irmscher Corsa Sprint C was the inspiration for this design.

Rallying has had a lasting impact on Irmschers history, and this is clearly evident in the Irmscher Corsa iRC ‘Sprint’. Countless motorsport successes, achieved by drivers such as Walter Röhrl, Jocki Kleint, Franz Engstler and Johnny Cecotto, among others, can be felt when looking at this vehicle.

Irmscher has been offering an extensive customisation portfolio for this series since its market launch, including a body kit, lowering kit, performance upgrades of up to 25 hp and wheels up to 18 inches in Turbo Star design. Modified versions of these wheels are also fitted to the Irmscher Corsa iRC.

Irmscher is aiming for 200 hp from the combustion engine and 300 hp system performance.
